Like this afternoon while waiting to have Yuxuan's check, I asked him, if next time our girl wanna marry to another country how. Told him, I cannot one leh.. I will cry like mad. Then he scold me, say I too free. ๐

Ok. Must share these.
Before I gave birth to Casper, a friend told me, just before I go into labor ward, touch your tummy and tell the little one in me these;
Tell him/her to be good cos you are gonna safely bring him/her into this world. Baby can hear you. Pat your tummy and say these to him/her before entering the labor ward ya.
Did so for all 4 of them. ๐
Happy that Yuxuan was really fast. Can say the whole process is about 1.5 to 2 hours before her arrival. ๐
And. I met one really really good nurse (my attending nurse) when I was in the delivery suite.
Really grateful to her.... During epidural, hub needed to be outside.
So whole time I grapped her hands tight. And she told me, "Promise me you wont move ok" and many ensuring words....
These are important if you know.... ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ I am going back to see and thank her when I'm better.
Vanitha is her name. Me and hub gonna get something for her. Wonder what we should get her... What is good for a nurse who works in a delivery suite... Let me think...

Having pain... So hub feed Yuxuan.
My back sore and tummy is really painful sometimes... The tummy pain is pretty bad when it comes, till I almost wanna cry.
Doc say its common. Happen to mothers who had given birth to the 3rd child and above. Something like contractions back to the original state before pregnant.
Hope it goes off soon.
My lovely tenants just got back. They saw me lying flat on the bed. They, "Wah.... look at her tummy! So fast flat back"!!

Finally hub went to work today after his one week paternity leave. So now 'no government' for me.
With my mother in law's instructions, hub is very strict with me. He has been watching me closely the past week.
I know... I know cant eat this, cant eat that. Cant do this, cant do that. With 4 kids of cos I do know and heard a lot. Not trying to act cute really. I REALLY CANNOT STAND.
Somemore if act cute at my age, I'll get beaten up. I am just feeling really thirsty. I need gas drinks ah...
Hub knows I am not honest on this. Cos he caught me once (at the clinic buying a coke from the vending machine) when we brought Yurou for her jandice check 3 years plus ago. ๐๐๐
That time i told him I needed the loo, asked him to wait outside the lab. The nurse mixed up my number and called for us earlier then i expected.
Hub couldnt understand English, so he walked towards the ladies wanting to call me to hurry.
There he saw me enjoying at a vending machine, drinking a cup of coke.
Jin sway (very unlucky). There onwards, he has been watching closely. Many times I walk to the kitchen he also follow.
He follow his lor.

Actually. After giving birth to Yuxuan. The first night in hospital I almost got a cold drink.
A friend paid a visit that day. She asked me if I wan anything? Me acted like no big business, told her "Ok lor... Just buy me a peach drink from Mac at downstairs lor"
She got suspicious asked me, "Can drink cold drink meh" Imed she refused. ๐ฉ

Actually among us sisters, all of us are funny in a way really.

So now its every 1 to 2 hours of interrupt sleep for me. ๐ Am well prepared.
Especially when had fallen asleep dreaming then woke up hearing her cries. ESPECIALLY when its happy dreams, feast dreams, wet dreams Oops! ๐
No joke is.... Really tired...
Not the least a breeze looking after newborn baby. If one ask me, whats the most tired part of having kids. I think apart from them reaching their teenage years (another kind of worry), probably it would be from newborn to their 6th month?
Since Yurou, I prefer to look after them during night myself cos its really the most tired thing one can imagine.
Many say sleep while baby is sleeping! How easy saying.... Perhaps to some mummies/people yes? Like my hub? He start to snore ONE min after his eyes closed/ after he said "goodnight" ๐
Abit difficult for me.
Still, since Yurou, I love to look after them myself at night. Cos its so different... They will be very close to the night caretaker? (Ok. Skip Teng on Yurou's case).
Apart from being closer to the night caretaker, I also hope to let hub have better sleep for work the next day.
Love to see him having enough sleep and 100% resting assure that our baby is well taken care of in the night. Let him know its great perks having marry a ๅฆปๅคงๅง (a wife his senior) ๐
Also, enjoy the feeling when he proudly tell his friends and family members that his wife look after baby entirely at night (even during Yurou's time when I held an office hours job then). ๐
Bottom line. Actual fact. NO CHOICE cos its MY CHOICE. My child. My responsiblity. ๐๐๐
BUT really. Tired yes but happy.... Tell myself this at my most tired state/got woke up in the midst of sleep, that I am gifted with a lovely baby! There no matter how tired/sleepy I am, perks me up instantly!
Also realised that as I become older in age, I am much more patient with kids and babies..
(I'll show how tired I meant later)
Received some gifts from ex colleagues the other day. ๐ข๐ญ They so love..
So, I thank them with the gifts photo. But they want a pic of baby right?

Did I say before? Being a hair stylist was his initial dream when he was young. Lols. Well, sometimes its different from reality.
Mine was a lawyer. One with legal aid organization offering free service.
But hub said countless times in my dreams (for many years), I talk non stop, like advising someone about labor rules & regulations.
True.. Even to date I frequently dream about me advising on EA, in meeting with Directors & line Managers. Orientating and conducting disciplinary/due inquiries/trainings etc. like the old times.
Sometimes he will tell me, "baby, ๆจๆไฝ ๅฅฝๅ่ฎฒๅพๅพๅฅฝ" (Your 'speech' seems good last night) Lolols. Of cos ah... Last time my rice bowl leh..
He dont understand fully what I'm saying in my dreams anyway. Perhaps just some words. ๐

Ah bong took this photo of us the other day.
He got a shock when he saw this after his bath, 3 of us nap at the same time. Just within minutes. We 3 were actually not asleep before he took his bath.
So he took and send in our family group chat. Then they say like mother pig and 2 piglets. Ok.... Very kind my family members.

I am so nervous ah..... Putting on some make up cos hub's colleagues coming over later.
